Dr. Fred M. Henretig is a full-time attending staff member who serves in dual leadership roles as the Director of the Section of Clinical Toxicology and the Medical Director of the Poison Control Center. He earned his medical degree from the Yale University School of Medicine and subsequently completed his special training at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children.
Having received his staff appointment in 1980, Dr. Henretig brings decades of experience to his specialized interests in toxicology and pediatric emergency medicine.
Dr. Henretig served as clinical center staff at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia site under Principal Investigator Don Schwarz, MD.
